【环球华语2020年5月11日】安省周一新增确诊308例，新增死亡35例，继续呈下降趋势，目前的康复率已经超过新的感染率。安省累积确诊数达到20546例，包括1669例死亡，15131例治愈，3746例正在观察。今天的新增病例仅高于昨天的294例，仍然是6周以来的最低。
流行病学家艾萨克·博格奇（Isaac Bogoch）博士说，最新病例数令人鼓舞，即使它们呈曲折形上升也是整体下降的一部分。
“当您退后一步，观察一段时间内的趋势时，这很有意义。我们看到案件数量迅速上升，然后又达到了平稳状态，现在又有所下降。” Bogoch在周一告诉记者。
“如果您每周而不是每天查看它，则可以看到这些总体趋势。在我们的高峰期，我们每天看到500到600个案例，而现在我们每天处于300-400个案例之间。”
安大略省的34个地方公共卫生部门公布的数据统计了死亡人数，截至周一早上有1,715人死亡，比全省报告的死亡人数多46人。
在过去的24小时内，恢复的病例数增加了359，而新感染的病例数增加了51。
在确认的1669例死亡中，除78例外，其余所有死亡均发生在60岁或60岁以上的人群中，其中1174例在80岁或80岁以上的人群中死亡。
在所有实验室确诊病例中，超过60％位于大多伦多地区（GTA），多伦多的感染率为每10万居民中最高的，每10万居民中有217例。
安省卫生部门在过去24小时完成了13,970人的测试，低于周日的17,618。
另有9,000个样本正在调查中。
周一，COVID-19住院患者的人数猛增至1,000多，而住院的人数为1,027，而周日为961。
重症监护室的人数下降了1到194，而在呼吸机的帮助下呼吸的人数上升了7至147。
